Cannon School’s college counselors go beyond

Last night I had the good fortune of being involved in a celebration honoring this year’s  winter sports athletes.

As each student-athlete was introduced and walked onto the court with his or her parents, announcers read off a list of that young person’s accomplishments both on and off the playing fields.  Hearing the list of colleges that our students will be attending next year really caught my attention.  In every case, there seemed to be a perfect match between the student-athlete and the college s/he had decided to attend.

As it turns out, this is no accident.  Cannon School’s college counseling team works hard to help each student discover and explore the colleges and universities that are likely to be the best fit — given that student’s unique talents, interests, and passions.
